Summary: Arthur and Lucius come together over shared grief.
A New Love Found
Arthur stumbled out of the floo into the Leaky Cauldron. He scrubbed his hand over his face as he walked to the bar. It had been only six months since that final battle and his wife’s death. Harry had defeated Voldemort, and most of the Deatheaters had been rounded up. They had thought it was finally over when a couple of Deatheaters suddenly appeared firing off spells. They had been quickly subdued but not before causing damage. Molly had been hit with a blasting curse as she had been shielding a small second year. She had died a hero’s death, but that didn’t make the pain off loss any less. He dropped onto a vacant stool with a heavy sigh and signaled to Tom.
“What ya have, Arthur?” Tom asked as he quickly wiped down the bar.
“A fire whiskey,” he responded.
Tom nodded and fixed his drink. “Let me know if you need anything else.” He bustled down the bar to serve another patron.
“Fancy seeing you here, Arthur,” a smooth, silky voice drawled.
Arthur sighed as he recognized the voice, “Lucius, I could say the same for you. Did you get tired of your Elvin wines?” Arthur said as he took a sip of the whiskey.
Lucius smirked at the feisty redhead. “No, just tired of being at the manor by myself with Draco back in Hogwarts.”
Arthur nodded in understanding. He had forgotten that Narcissa had died in the final battle. She had been crushed when one of the giants fighting for Voldemort had been felled. She and a few death eaters hadn’t been able to get out of the way in time. “Same here. With my youngest two back in school, the house is too quiet.”
Lucius raised his glass in a toast, “Here’s to empty homes.”
Arthur saluted, and they downed their drinks. Lucius waved Tom over for refills., causing Arthur to snort in amusement. Lucius raised a perfectly sculpted brow in question. “It’s funny that we’re sitting here together getting drunk when in our past, we come to or almost come to blows.”
Lucius chuckled as he took a sip of his refreshed drink. “True, though now that all spells and potions are out of my system, according to Draco, I have mellowed.”
Arthur nodded in agreement. A lot of them had changed with the war. Many of the deatheaters were discovered to be under spells and potions by family members that had supported the Dark Lord. Amazingly, Lucius Malfoy had been one of them. It had come out that his father and future father-in-law had spelled him and were slipping him potions that he’d join the Dark Lord. When they had died, Narcissa had continued to do so. Once she had died, the spells had broken. His time in Azkaban awaiting his trial had seen most of the potions flushed from his body. A test had revealed their presence. So he was now a free man and with a clean record as well. Though he and his son still dealt with some who wouldn’t let go of the past. They continued to drink in a companionable silence well into the night. Tom firmly let them know that it was closing time and allowed them to use his floo to safely get home. They both walked unsteadily towards the bar's fireplace. Neither wanting to be alone tried to come up with an excuse to continue. Lucius was first to break the silence.
“If you’re up to it, I have some excellent scotch.”
“Oh, really,” Arthur slurred.
“Yes, a bottle of Isabelle Islay,” he replied.
Arthur nearly fell over in shock. “Wha…? A bottle of that costs UK £3,800,000!”
Lucius snorted, “Of course, I’m a Malfoy.”
“Why not.”
Lucius grinned, grabbed Arthur and pulled him to the fireplace. He threw some floo in, “Malfoy Manor!” and pulled Arthur along with him. They both tumbled out onto the floor in a giggling heap. Lucius looked down at the man sprawled under him. They laid there in the position of lovers. He stared down into Arthur’s pale blue eyes. He never noticed before how beautiful the other man was. Even with his hair thinning, he was cute. He leaned down and captured that laughing mouth with his own in a hungry kiss. He groaned at the taste of fire whiskey and Arthur. He ground down his hard cock against Arthur’s rapidly filling one.
Arthur’s eyes shot wide at the hungry mouth, plundering his own. He felt himself getting aroused for the first time since before Molly died. His eyes slipped closed as pleasure swept through him. He wrapped his arms around Lucius’ neck and kissed back hungrily. He whimpered in loss as Lucius’ mouth left his. Lucius started to kiss down his throat. Arthur hissed in pleasure as Lucius bit down and sucked where his neck joined his shoulder. “Lucius,” he gasped.
Lucius gave a low chuckle. “I think the scotch can wait. I think I’ve found something better,” he said before he dived back in for a kiss.
Arthur moaned in pleasure and agreement. Kissing Lucius was way more pleasurable than some fancy scotch. He squeaked into the kiss when Lucius suddenly apparated them onto what felt like a bed. He sighed into the kiss and let the pleasure wash over and take him away. He was going to enjoy this night of not being alone and the lingering pain.

Morning found Lucius and Arthur sound asleep with Arthur on top with Lucius still buried inside of him. The door to the room came crashing open and startled them awake. Arthur jerked up and moaned at the cock, suddenly hardening within him.
“Father?!”
“Mr. Weasley?”
Arthur and Lucius looked to the door to see Harry and Draco standing there in shock.
“Harry!”
“Draco!”
“We…we’ll wait for you in your study, father.” Draco stuttered out before grabbing Harry and fleeing the bedroom.
They both stared at the door before each other. “Let’s take care of this first,” Lucius said as he bucked up and pulled Arthur down for a kiss. Arthur moaned in pleasure and let himself be carried away.

After a quick shower, the two men appeared fully dressed in the study. “So what brings you two here on a Saturday, so very early?” Lucius asked as he and Arthur took a seat. “We haven’t even eaten yet.”
Draco snorted in amusement, now that he and Harry had recovered from the shock. “So, we noticed.”
Harry snorted into his tea in laughter while Lucius glared at them, and Arthur turned red from embarrassment.
“I…er…really should be heading home,” Arthur said awkwardly as he made to stand.
“No need to leave Arthur,” Lucius said.
“He’s right, Mr. Weasley. Once we were done talking to Mr. Malfoy, Draco and I were going to go and talk to you,” Harry told him as he set down his cup.
“Really,” Arthur asked as he sat back in his chair.
“Why did you need to talk to us?” Lucius asked with a frown.
Draco shifted in his seat under his father’s frown, “Uh…well…you see.” He stopped to clear his throat. “Harry and I started dating in September, not long after school started. We found out on Thursday that he’s pregnant.”
“Pregnant?” Lucius growled at his son and heir. “How far along?”
Arthur stared in shock at the news. Though he loved Harry like one of his sons, he was still unsure why he needed to tell him.
“Four weeks,” Harry whispered.
“How?” Arthur asked. “Did you brew the potion needed? You’re too young for children.”
Draco looked Arthur dead in the eye, “No, I did not brew the potion or ask anyone else to. Madame Pomfrey said that he is a carrier.”
“There hasn’t been a carrier born in over 100 years,” Lucius whispered in awe.
“Madame Pomfrey told us that as well,” Harry said as he smiled softly at Draco.
“So, this was what you wanted to tell Arthur and I?” Lucius asked.
“Yes, but I had another question for Mr. Weasley,” Draco said. Draco took a deep breath and looked at Arthur. “Mr. Weasley, Harry considers you and your children like family. As someone, he considers a surrogate father. So as such, I am asking you for your permission to marry him.”
Arthur swallowed the lump in his throat and blinked back his tears. “I am honored that Harry sees us as his family and that you would ask me. If you who he loves and wants, then yes.” Arthur gave a wet chuckle. “Though with the fighting you two have done over the years, they say there’s a fine line between love and hate.”
Draco snorted at that, “The same could be said between you and father. Just remember, even though you have Ginny, I want another sister.” Draco smirked.
Arthur blushed as red as his hair, and Lucius looked at him in shock, “Draco!” causing the two boys to crack up laughing and wondering if they’d end up planning a double wedding in the future.
